Wax & Beyond

The candle makers at Wax & Beyond have their own unique process of creating these one-of-a-kind glowing orbs that line the store’s walls. They start with a simple ball of uncolored wax, which has hardened with wick in place. The inner core is hand dipped into several new layers of colored wax, which are chosen according to the specific design. During the process, they alternate between hot colored wax and water to allow the wax bulb to cool in between layers. Throughout this process, the candle makers may cut, peel, or add certain textures or figurines to accent a favorite animal, cartoon character or logo.
