Hilton Head Island’s rising profile as a culinary destination will be given a major boost with the opening of FISH Seafood & Raw Bar at Coligny Plaza.
This all-new epicurean experience will offer an entirely fresh take on seafood inspired by regional foodways and the Lowcountry’s unique culinary history. Here dock-to-table will be taken beyond the buzzword and elevated to a unique gourmet approach to local sourcing. Along with exquisite cuisine, diners will get an education in the richness of our area waters, and the preparation styles that have defined our area for generations.
Crafting this experience is a dream team of luminaries in the local culinary world, such as Mike Oliver, Bob Zolton, and Lee Lucier, as well as operations guru Danny Py and Hilton Head Island mainstays JR and Leslie Richardson.
“Our family has been here on the island for more than 60 years, so it’s immensely exciting to bring something to Hilton Head Island that hasn’t been seen before,” said partner J.R. Richardson. “Everyone knows the island for its seafood, but no one has ever truly experienced it the way they will here. And along with the food, we’re equally excited to show off this amazing venue.”
Located amid the excitement of Coligny Plaza, FISH Seafood & Raw Bar’s unique footprint will allow for three different bars and a multitude of dining areas to give diners a chance to come back again and again, trying something new every time. In addition, the live entertainment schedule at The FISH Bowl music venue will create an exciting new opportunity to enjoy local and regional acts in one of the island’s most fabulous settings.
